Born in Nottingham I have been a letting agent all my working life. I have a BSC in Business in Property from UWE. Now the sole owner I took over management from my mother who started Tomlinson Estates over 20 years ago and since have expanded our portfolio significantly. I aim to tailor our services to the needs of landlords and create a trusting relationship. In my spare time I like to cycle; in past years I have cycled with friends from London to Barcelona as well as the length of Italy for a local charity. I like to ski, shoot clays and run. I feel that keeping focused and fit outside of work makes for a good life.
Joe started working for Tomlinson Estates soon after finishing University. Over the last 9 years he has progressed to Sales & Office manager of our Ruddington office as well as gaining qualifications with ARLA & NAEA. He is passionate about proving the highest level of service for our clients. If you are interested in Selling, purchasing your first property, increasing your portfolio or would like some advice, Joe will be more than happy to help! In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym, climbing, watching rugby as well as the occasional real ale!
With over 20 years of experience in finance and management systems, working with various accounting packages and spreadsheets. Mel’s focus is on working smarter, analysing information and implementing processes to ensure smooth running of the business finances and admin. Her experience is various industries from automotive to event management gives her a holistic approach to systems and training, identifies where improvements can be made and seeing them come to fruition. She’s always available to help assist with any aspect of payment queries and support to landlords and suppliers.
Becky is responsible for property renovations as well as providing accounts support for our Finance Director Mel. Having completed her NAEA Level 3 qualifications Becky is well equipped to deal with any of the many tasks that need completing on a day to day basis in our busy office environment. Becky with the team climbed Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike and she is aiming for Ben Nevis in the near future! In her spare time she likes to go on country walks and spending time with her daughter Molly and chihuahua Tinkerbell.
Kitty is responsible for looking after a number of properties within the portfolio at Tomlinson Estates as well as handling our block management. Her role at Tomlinson Estates enables her to help our clients on a day to day basis and maintain our excellent customer service. Kitty is thoroughly enjoying her time with the Tomlinson Estates team and has completed her Level 3 in Residential Letting and Property Management with Propertymark. Her passion for property stemmed from family who have built & renovated many properties, something she has now been able to do herself.
After spending the first 10 years of her working life in retail management, Leisha brings her experience and knowledge and pairs it with her passion for property and people to manage a number of student properties within our portfolio at Tomlinson Estates. Leisha spends her typical day liaising with clients and tenants regularly to maintain the best possible service.
Harbinder joins us as a Utilities Manager with a reputation for delivery in fast growth companies. Having worked in the Energy, insurance and construction industry over the past 20 years, Harbinder brings with her strong pragmatic solving skills, excellent project management experience with high level analytical skills. There is nothing more she likes than working on spreadsheets. In her own time, Harbinder spends her time with her family mainly cooking, walking and when time allows it, reading a good thriller! If you have any utility billing queries, Harbinder will be available to help.
Yvonne has been with the company for over 10 years, building up a good understanding of the administration side of the business. Prior to this, she has worked in finance & administration for national companies all her working life, building up a wealth of knowledge in finance management. After developing and running the bill management side of the business for over 8 years, she has recently handed this over, and dropped back to a part time supportive role to the Finance Director, and being a support to the office in busy periods. In her spare time, loves to travel and socialise as much as possible.
Tony has worked with Tomlinson Estates for over 10 years maintaining property as well as providing a crucial out of hours emergency service ensuring our tenants are safe. His experience working within the industry has proven invaluable in diagnosing issues, providing a quality and efficient service.
Olivia joins the Tomlinson Estates Team as our property administrator helping with our student lettings and your day-to-day enquiries. Olivia has a strong administrative background within the production industry, enabling her to support our property managers using her excellent customer service and friendly nature. She is excited to start expanding her knowledge within the property industry and is looking to complete her Propertymark Level 3 award in Residential Letting and Property Management in the future.
